An amazing prize worth more than £600 is on offer for the winner of the Best Dressed Lady competition, on the opening day of The Game Fair 2019.
Sponsored for the fifth year running by British clothing brand Welligogs, a family-owned company renowned for blending style with performance and elegance, the fun competition is being held at Hatfield House on Friday 26 July and involves scouts touring the showground to select and persuade ladies dressed with flair and style to put themselves forward.
Entrants are asked to gather at the Welligogs stand (H937) for 2pm, with judging getting under way at 2.30pm. The lucky lady will go home with an amazing Welligogs Demelza Grey Coat and a fabulous pair of Mayfair Black waterproof boots. Further prizes are provided by County Equestrian Jewellers.
“Everyone is welcome, the more the merrier,” said Kim Annan, founder of Welligogs. “It is a very relaxed atmosphere, and everyone gets a glass of fizz. We were thrilled by the number of people taking part last year, with over 30 fabulous entrants. Each twirl on the catwalk showed the entrants’ personality and style impeccably. I’m sure it will be a lot of fun again this year. It always attracts attention and we’re looking forward to it.”
Joanne Waycott-Sawyer, a landlady from Wiltshire, won first prize last year in a bespoke outfit by British designer Emma Brown using the same tweed used to make her wedding dress and groomsmen’s waistcoats a month earlier.
The Game Fair returns for the second time to the magnificent Hatfield House in Hertfordshire from Friday 26 July to Sunday 28 July.
