Description

1917 made SMLE NO.1 Mk.3 rifle from the smaller-scale and well regarded factory London Small Arms. Only around 8% of SMLE rifles manufactured in Britain during 1917 were built by LSA. Numbers matching on the barrel, receiver, bolt, nose cap and fore-end. Rear sight not matching but still Mk.3 spec with windage dial and I suspect the butt plate has been replaced in this rifle’s 107 year history. Certainly an interesting piece of history that doesn’t appear to have been tampered with or refurbished and is great fun to shoot. Included in the sale is a sling and 40 rounds of PPU ammunition.
