Description

Franchi's first bolt action rifle has not failed to impress. As expected from Franchi, the quality of the Franchi Horizon exceeds the expectations from its low cost bracket, resulting in an incredibly affordable rifle that is lightweight, ergonomic and extremely accurate.
The rifle has a detachable magazine and a fluted bolt, and it's all backed by a 7 year warranty.
Designed for budget conscious rifle shooters who demand quality and accuracy, the smooth 3 locking lug bolt delivers faultless feeding time and again. The fluted bolt has the added benefit of reducing weight in the gun but also contributes to the smart aesthetics. And with the same ergonomic synthetic stock and blue barrel, this is a tough yet attractive rifle. All tested by the factory to prove that they perform to under 1 M.O.A of accuracy.

BARREL
At the heart of the Franchi Horizon rifle is a cold hammer forged barrel, crafted from chrome molybdenum steel that guarantees 1 MOA accuracy out of the box. Minimal weight and profile is achieved from the sporter style barrel and is highly resistant to corrosion. A barrel built for high performance and longevity.

STOCK
The stock of the Franchi Horizon rifle allows it to be handled with ease and reinforced glass fibre techno polymer massively reduces weight whilst remaining robust, durable and impervious to the harshest weather conditions. QD studs are integrated into the stock of the Horizon, to fit slings, bipods and other accessories.

BOLT
Fluted for further weight reduction, the bolt of the Horizon adopts a 3 lug locking system, resulting in a shallow bolt angle and enlarged bolt handle provides a secure grip and improves reload speed, even when wearing gloves or when a large objective riflescope is fitted.

ACTION
This model of the Franchi Horizon features a detachable polymer magazine that recesses very nicely in the rifle, allowing it to maintain its low profile. The newly designed trigger provides a crisp, creep-free break and is adjustable from approximately 1lb 15oz (900g) to 3lb 15oz (1800g).
