Description

New Sako 85 XS Varmint Laminated Stainless bolt action rifle in .222 calibre.

Tough brown hardwood coloured laminated pistol grip stock with rolled over right handed cheek piece and finished off with a slim rubber factory heel pad.

Stainless fluted one piece hammer forged 24" heavy varmint barrel which is screw cut M18x1 ready for the addition of a sound moderator. The rifle has been manufactured with a twist rate of 1-12 to maintain accuracy with the lighter vermin control weighted bullet heads.

The rifle is fitted with a Stetcher single set adjustable trigger unit which can be changed for breaking points between 1-4lbs, detachable five shot dual stack magazine. The special 2-way Sako safety locks both the trigger and the bolt handle.

The unique bolt release button of the Sako safety system allows you to load or remove a round from the rifle with the safety engaged. Scope, scope mount and sound moderator discount packages can be put together for this rifle at extra cost.
