Description
This is an AYA Boxlock 25 Ejector 12 bore with 25" barrels choked at 1/2 & Full. The overall condition is very good - the action is crisp and tight and retains a large amount of the original colour hardening, the bores are clean and tidy without any marks and the external blueing is good. The stock is well figured for the grade and finishes at 15 3/4” overall including a 'Silvers' recoil pad. The stock is in tidy condition with just the odd small mark here and there. The raised file cut rib on this model gives a nice sight picture. This is a gun that would be a perfect choice for walked up, rough or pigeon shooting, the weight would be perfect for a lady or youngster to use comfortably too. The 25" barrels make the gun handle very lively - a perfect choice for local driven partridge. It would cost around £70 to open up the full choke barrel to make it suitable for steel shot in the future. Part exchange welcome.
