Description
Well-enjoyed Cogswell & Harrison Avant Tout side by side, London proof marked 1887 to 1896.
Woodwork in lovely condition with blank stock oval inlay, no cracks, checkering worn in places as expected.
Action and trigger tang engraving still clean and sharp.
Barrel blacking is worn and there is internal pitting to the bore and muzzle, although this has been checked by a qualified gunsmith and the barrels are still in proof with regards to wall thickness.
Ideal project for full restoration or inexpensive game gun for a touch of class in the field.
