LINSLEY BROTHERS 12G SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN.

12G Side by Side Boxlock Ejector Shotgun from Linsley Brothers, Leeds. 30” (763mm) barrels with 2 ½” (65mm) English Game chambers. The chokes are fixed at IC and 3/4 . The action has a triple lock up with a hidden third bite and is still tight on the face. It features a nice hand cut scroll engraving too. Blueing is also still in good order throughout. The extra fine line cut chequering looks more clogged up than worn off. I will have to try and find time to clean it. The

Well Figured Stock with some good grain pattern finishes at a pull length at 14 3/8” (365mm). It also features the always classy touch of Tear Drop details to each face too.

Everything considered this is not a half bad classic little gun from a relatively local and well sought after maker. The action is tight on the face with bores and walls still a long way to go before they would cause concern. It is not the BEST conditioned gun I have here or seen but there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING wrong with it. Take it, USE it and ENJOY it.
