12 Bore Over and Under game gun.
A Liege classic.

Exhibition grade Walnut stock with Dark figuring against honey wood.
Stocked at 14 1/2” to centre.
2” drop at heel.
1 1/2” drop at comb.
1/4” cast.
Prince of Wales grip, drop points, fine chequering with crisp points.
Chequered butt with engraved steel tips and ornate screws.

Bright Sideplate action with deep scroll engraving and Gold wire scroll inlay.
Engraved by the renowned Jean Marie Smets. Arguably one of the finest engravers in Europe.
Sideplates engraved with vignette of Pheasant and Duck.
Base of action engraved with woodcock.

Action is tight with top lever sitting well right of centre.
Breech face shows very little sign of case head peening.
Barrels still exhibit resistance on opening.

Single Gold washed trigger inside engraved trigger guard and inlet tang.
Two piece fore-end with ornate rose engraved pins.

Choked approximately 3/4 & 1/2
6mm file cut and vented, game rib.
2 3/4” chambers.
