Description

This is a second-hand Italian made B. Rizzini BR550 Roundbody 12ga S/Side with 30" multi choke barrels. The BR550 Roundbody is a very attractive gun indeed - the Roundbody action is very elegant to look at coming with deep scroll engraving, the woodwork on this particular gun is nicely figured with good proportions coming with a pistol grip which is comfortable to hold and use. The single trigger mechanism is proven for reliabilty.

This is a gun that would be a great choice for driven game shooting both locally and further afield, the weight of the 30" barrels means there is enough weight to be steady for longer range/high pheasants; the gun still handles lively enough to deal comfortably with local driven partridges. Being multi choke means that the chokes can be balanced to suit any given shooting situation. The barrels are 3" fleur-de-lys proof marked so ready and suitable for all types of steel shot.

This gun is only 6 months old and very lightly used, it remains in excellent overall condition. The previous owner used the gun for a simulated clay day plus a few lessons before deciding that he preferred the sight picture of an over & under. The action is tight, the woodwork is very nicely figured with a few very small marks here and there, the barrels are clean inside and out.

There is a lockable plastic case and a set of 5 chokes plus a key with the gun.
