Churchill, E. J. 12 gauge Continental Sidelock Ejector 30" Pair

This is a fantastic looking and handling pair of E J Churchill 'Continental' sidelock ejector side-by-sides made by Arietta in Spain. Arietta are an established Spanish gunmaker with a well earnt reputation for making good quality and good looking shotguns.

These guns were produced in 2007. They are a lovely pair of guns to look at with matching stocks and forends, consecutive serial numbers, they are numbered 1 & 2 in gold on the rib, top lever and forend. The overall condition is very good, they have been used but not excessively opening and closing nicely. The well figured woodwork is in excellent condition, the barrels are clean inside and out. The chokes are 5/8 - 5/8 on No.1 and 1/4 - 5/8 on No.2. The 30" barrels are proofed to 1200Bar which would comfortably handle steel shot (to 32gr 4's) if the chokes were opened up. It would be possible to have them multi choked by Teague chokes.

Supplied in a quality dark brown double leather case with an E J Churchill label on the inside.
