Description
An excellent piece of British gun making history, this Thomas Wild side by side hammer gun dates from around 1904-25, with a later reproof, judging by the proof marks. Still very tight overall, there are unfortunately two cracks on the underside of the stock. Whilst they are not fatal to the gun, they are visible. Other than those cracks, the gun is in very good condition considering its age. The hammers strike well and the gun locks up very well.
