Description

A tidy Swiss made M1889 with matching numbers on the barrel, bolt, action, and magazine, with various stamps on the stock. Just like a Swiss made watch, incredibly good quality for a military rifle and reportedly very accurate. Features a bright bore, an original leather sling and brass muzzle protector.
In 1912, the German Kaiser visited Switzerland and asked a Swiss minister what the 250,000 strong Swiss armies would do if Germany attacked with 500,000 troops. Reply: "Shoot twice and go home."

This rifle is chambered in an obsolete calibre and the is no licence required to purchase.
