Description
Yet another incredible design by John Moses Browning. Originally designed for a variety of black powder cartridges, it was later slightly adapted to withstand the higher pressures of smokeless powders. The 1886 had the strongest action of all the Winchester lever action rifles. This rifle's serial number dates this rifle between 1893-94.
