This rifle is presented in the brown R8 Professional Success stock, with a factory 6.5x55 Swedish 17mm barrel, threaded 15x1 Spigot and a Standard bolt head.

The Blaser R8 is one of the most popular straight pull hunting rifles in the UK, due to their excellent build quality and their innovative barrel change system. Rather than carry several rifles into the field, the shooter can change calibres quickly and easily by swapping barrels. When changing between calibre family, the bolt head will have to be changed, but this is still an easy process.

The Professional Success is one of Blaser's most popular stock designs. The large thumbhole in the stock helps to shift the shooters' hand into a more natural shooting position to further reduce vexatious muzzle flip when shooting. The hard wearing synthetic finish is capable of withstanding all manner of rugged conditions, whilst the elastomer inserts on the forend and pistol grip ensure a firm grip even in gloves.
