An opportunity to purchase an exceptional rifle.
The metalwork has stamps of BSA and 2 serial numbers like most CLLE, with one set matching the bolt. In view of the AGP stamp I would guess the rifle was re-barrelled at some stage for target shooting.
Volley sights are still fitted with magazine cut-off.
The rifling is sharp and there is no pitting. The woodwork is exceptional with a high degree of figuring.
There are some marks on the metalwork commensurate with age.
A Parker 5a rear sight is available by negotiation
