.303 No4Mk1T Sniper rifle Circa 1943. An early BSA manufactured No4Mk1 converted to a telescope rifle by Holland & Holland with their wartime contractors code present under the butt. Very good original (BSA coded and '43 dated) gauging.303. Matching original numbers to the action, bolt body and forend.1944 dated Mk2 telescope fitted overhauled with excellent mechanics, scope number present on the wrist of the butt along with a previous barred out number. Scope fitted in a Rose Brothers coded bracket bearing the rifle number along with one other, barred out number and a set of excellent original lens covers. Correct and typical contractors codes to all small parts, making this very presentable and quite lovely example. Scope tin, excellent scout regiment scope and very nice 1944 dated leather snipers sling present, the whole contained within a correct No15 transit chest. A very nice example indeed.
