Description

1967 Lee Enfield Ishapore Model 2A1 7.62x51mm Bolt Action Rifle.

A great example of the last bolt action battle rifle produced for a military.
Bright bore with strong rifling. Mechanically very good - The wooden stock is in strong clean condition, plenty of life left with marks consistent with age and general wear and tear.
Also has a original Lee Enfield Carry strap

- The wrist band is stamped "2A1. 7.62mm 2A1. RFI. 1967."
- Asterisk stamp on the barrel tang.
- External magazine
- Adjustable rear tangent sights
- Bayonet lug
- Alloy Butt Plate
- Caliber: 7.62x51mm (308)
- Barrel Length: 25.5"
- Serial Number: Correctly Matched Stamp Type on Bolt and receiver

Also included are the below items

- 100 Rounds of GGG 7.62X51 147gr FMJ ammo
(All ammo is new and sealed)

- Nuprol Heavy duty case

- Scope rings / attachment for Lee Enfield Rifle

This is a great rifle with historical significence, and I have spent lots of time cleaning it up. I'm only selling due to having a child on the way and giving up shooting sports as a result.
