42 coded receiver so manufactured by Mauser Obendorf in the last year of coded manufacture

German arms manufactures built guns under these codes to evade restrictions placed on them by the treaty of Versailles, which were put in place to prevent Germany from re-arming

Obviously by this time of manufacture Nazi Germany was no longer interested in hiding its nefarious intentions

Stock and Breech block numbers match and bolt is electro pencilled match to the gun, so has been through the Russian capture process..

Lovely patina on the whole rifle and in beautiful condition throughout.. good bore and shoots very well

Fitted with genuine ZF41 scope and mount which functions as it should
