Based on the highly popular AR platform, the Tikka T3x TACT-A1 is a rifle more than capable of sub-MOA accuracy and fulfills many of the operational requirements of a dedicated long-range rifle. It's compatability with common AR, M-LOK and Picatinny attachments, combined with the adjustable features of the rifle make this a truly adaptable rifle for the discerning target shooter. In 2016 Sako introduced to the market the Tikka T3x TACT-A1, a special development for law enforcement sniper application made to meet the rapidly changing operational requirements of law enforcement community. Now the Tikka T3x TACT-A1 is available also for commercial market. Tikka T3x TACT-A1 is based on Sako´s famous Tikka T3 bolt action construction, but made to meet the new increasingly challenging requirements of long range tactical shooting. The must-haves of the new weapon were developed based on the comprehensive field tests and the feedback received from relevant operators with different background. As a result the new rifle is at the same time ideally multi functional, though light in weight, compact and rugged.

The aluminum chassis stock system is compatible with most common type AR fore-ends, pistol grips and rear stocks. It offers a foldable rear stock with quick adjustable cheek piece and adjustable length of pull. The muzzle is threaded 5/8"x24 UNEF for attaching the included muzzle brake and/or moderators.

NEW RECOIL PAD

T3x models come with a new recoil pad technology that reduces the impact of recoil on the shooter. The new robust pad allows you to fully concentrate on the accuracy of your shots.

REDESIGNED EJECTION PORT

The new T3x receiver introduces a widened angular ejection port that makes it easier to feed one cartridge at a time.

METALLIC BOLT SHROUD

Robustness and quality go hand in hand. Metallic bolt shroud covers and shields the rear of the bolt body and the firing pin.

STEEL RECOIL LUG

This extra-strong lug has minimal deformation – even with larger calibres. Compared to aluminium, the steel lug doesn't have strong imprinting qualities that would cause deformation when larger calibres are used.
