AYA 410 gauge #3 Boxlock

Description

This is an AYA No.3 Boxlock Non-ejector .410ga with 27" barrels. The overall condition is very good - the action is crisp and tight and retains much of the original colour hardening, the bores are clean and tidy without any marks and the external blueing is in tidy condition. The stock is reasonably well figured for the grade, it has been shortened slightly from original so it now finishes at 13 5/8” overall. It would be simple job to get a gunsmith to extend the stock length with a rubber recoil pad. The stock is in tidy condition with just the odd small mark here and there.

This is a gun that would be a perfect choice for vermin control or rough shooting - the 3" chambered barrels will comfortably handle the heaviest 18/19gr loads giving an effective range of 25yds. The weight would be perfect for a lady or youngster to use too.
