Description

An unbelievably rare and almost certainly unique opportunity to own a pair of these guns with consecutive numbers. These guns are outrageously rare in their own right (we have never had one through the door in 8+ years of trading) so to have two that have been unaltered and brought back together by chance is pretty remarkable.

Both guns are in excellent condition from heel to muzzle. The woodwork is well matched in terms of figuring and colouring. Both actions are obviously beautifully engraved with a fabulous game scene of ducks on the right and pheasant on the left, both surrounded by a very classy gold inlay and additional scrollwork. Adjustable triggers also mean that the LOP can be easily altered anywhere from 14.75" to 15.25". It is worth noting that the guns are also HP Steel Proofed so ready for the inevitable introduction of steel shot.

Should it be required the guns can be numbered 1 and 2 on the stock, barrels and fore-end to make a true pair for an additional £500. There are also silver cartouches that are ready for initials should the new owner require that.

The guns come in a metal double case with five external chokes and four internal chokes.
