He has built the business up over the years to be the foremost sporting gun shop in the county and one of the most prominent in the South West. Ian has direct contact with all the major distributors in the UK and has many friends in the industry and has thus built up over the years a great relationship with other gun shops and importers.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Ian Hodge Shooting Shop, and I must say, it’s much more than just a gun store. It’s a haven for all things related to country sports, catering to every need of the rural enthusiast. From high-end Beretta shotguns to humble rabbit purse nets, Ian Hodge’s offers a vast array of products to suit every budget and interest.

With around 850 guns on display and an extensive range of accessories, it’s a paradise for sporting shooters. The shop is set in the rolling countryside of North Cornwall, near a small village called Burlawn, approximately 1.5 miles from Wadebridge. Just 7 miles from the A30! With the shop situated on the family farm, there is ample parking, beautiful Cornish views and the opportunity to try out particular products, including a clay trap to have a go with any second hand/ ex demo shotgun.
